It’s cocktail time and we are still celebrating BLUEBERRIES!
What could be more refreshing than a Blueberry Mojito? Nothing. HA!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 8 blueberries (fresh or frozen), plus more for garnish
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tsp agave nector
- 4 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1/4 cup white rum – we like Bacardi or Malibu
- 1 cup ice
- 2 tbsp club soda
- lime slice for garnish
If you can muddle here’s your chance. Break out the glass and muddle rod, combine the mint and blueberries and begin your work. Probably wont take long, about 2 minutes of muddling or grinding down for full flavors. If you don’t have a muddle I would recommend using a fork and smashing the ingredients to brute and release flavors.
Once you’ve muddled, add the remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Add a few blueberries and mint leaves for garnish, maybe a lime wedge on the rim of your glass.
Kick back, watch the sun set, imagine something pleasant and consume. I’m tellin’ you, it’s like nothing else. Refreshing. Semi-sweet from the agave. Semi-bitter. This drink has the ability to drowned out most anything else, its just wonderful. Here it is, not even noon, and i’m dreaming of the end-of-workday so I can make another. 🙂 Come indulge with me!
